English Bio
Francesca Sai, is an italian artist and illustrator. Grown in a small village on the east shore of the Lago Maggiore, moves to Bologna in order to attend the Fine Arts Academy. There she accomplishes the Painting Degree in 2008 and the Illustration degree in 2012.  In 2009 she obtains the Erasmus Placement Scholarship and  moves to Berlin for an Internship as Graphic Designer.  From this moment on she starts to share her life between Italy and the german capital.
She takes part to three editions of the exhibition-market “Berlin Graphic Days” plus in 2016 at the “Comicinvasion Berlin” and other events as F.A.M.E. in Riccione in 2013, “Sotto gli archi di Sarigo” in 2009 and 2011. She exhibits her work in some personal show, as at the cultural center “La Melograna” in Berlin in 2011. She starts various artistic collaborations which include different  branches: intern decoration, graphic, illustrations and logos for blogs, bands, websites and independent magazines.
She’s selected to take part with an illustration to the project “Prenzlauerberg Kalender 2015”.
Furthermore she organize creative workshops dedicated to children and adults by schools and cultural centers.

Italian bio
Francesca Sai, cresciuta sulle sponde del Lago Maggiore, si trasferisce per studio a Bologna, dove frequenta l’Accademia di Belle Arti. Lì consegue la laurea in Pittura nel 2008 ed in Illustrazione per l’editoria nel 2012. Nel 2009 si sposta a Berlino per un tirocinio conseguente all’assegnazione della borsa di studio Erasmus Placement. Da quel momento inizia a dividere la sua vita tra l’Italia e la capitale tedesca. Partecipa a tre edizioni della mostra-mercato “Berlin Graphic Days” ,al “Comicinvasion” nel 2016 e ad altre manifestazioni ed esposizioni, quali F.A.M.E. a Riccione nel 2013, “Sotto gli archi di Sarigo” nel 2009 e nel 2011, ed espone i propri lavori anche in mostre personali, come quella tenuta presso il Centro Culturale “La Melograna” a Berlino nel 2011. Intraprende collaborazioni artistiche di vario tipo, dalla decorazione alla grafica e realizza diverse illustrazioni o loghi per gruppi musicali, blog, siti e riviste indipendenti; viene selezionata per partecipare alla realizzazione del calendario illustrato “Prenzlauerberg 2015”.
Si occupa inoltre di organizzare e gestire workshop creativi dedicati a bambini ed adulti presso scuole e centri culturali.
